COES Caledonia (UK) Ltd

COES Caledonia (UK) Limited is a subsidiary of the maritime giant China Ocean Engineering Shanghai (COES), historically known as Shanghai Salvage Company (SSC) and established in 1951 as a division of the Chinese Ministry for Transport. COES has a track record of over 60 years of success supporting the global marine salvage, construction, decommissioning, diving (down to 1640 feet/500m), subsea installation/removal, towage and heavy lift (several thousands of tons in a single lift) operations. COES has committed to spending almost $1 billion, over the coming years, in new state of the art vessels to support the international Oil and Gas and Offshore Renewables Market and with us, its new subsidiary company, COES Caledonia (UK) Limited, strategically located in Dundee for its facilities and close proximity to the North Sea, COES is leveraged to tap into the UK Decommissioning market, said to be worth over $15.3 billion over the next decade (Oil and Gas UK)

COES Caledonia (UK) Limited is a founding member of ‘Forth and Tay Decommissioning’ which was created to offer an integrated, end-to-end service, purposely set-up as a direct response to the governments call for evidence to make Scotland a decommissioning hub. It is a team focused on sustainable, profitable cost minimisation, offering full scope capability, but with the flexibility to suit client needs.
