Damen Shipyards Group operates 33 ship- and repair yards, employing 9,000 people worldwide. Since it began, Damen has delivered more than 6,000 vessels and delivers approx. 150 vessels annually to customers worldwide. Damen’s 90 years of experience result in a low ‘total cost of ownership’ and reliable performance.

Damen is striving to become a one-stop shop for designing and building decommissioning assets and offers a wide range of fit for purpose products, including: jack-ups, well intervention vessels, walk to work vessels, crew supply vessels, anchor handling tugs, PSVs, OSVs and pontoons. For all vessel types, Damen offers a broad range of global services, such as maintenance, spare parts delivery, training and transfer of (shipbuilding) know-how.

In addition to ship design and shipbuilding, Damen Shiprepair & Conversion offers a network of 15 repair and conversion yards worldwide, with dry docks ranging up to 420x80 meters. Conversion projects range from adapting vessels to today’s requirements and regulations to the complete conversion of large offshore structures.

Recently, the Damen Verolme Rotterdam yard added offshore unit decommissioning to its services. The yard holds the EU and Dutch official accreditation of Ship Recycling Yard (as per the IMO Hong Kong Convention and EU Regulation 1257/ 2013).
