Company Overview

The Port of Cromarty Firth is strategically important for access to the North Sea and West of Shetland fields and it has played an intrinsic role in the safe delivery of marine and engineering solutions to the oil & gas sector for over 40 years.In this time it has handled over 650 rig visits.

We offer deep sheltered water, no weather restrictions and access 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.There is a locally based, internationally recognised skilled workforce.All of this combines to make the Cromarty Firth a proven destination of choice for multi-national Subsea and Drilling organisations.

It is the statutory harbour authority for all the facilities that operate in the Cromarty Firth.

A £25million port expansion project got underway in 2014 and is due for completion in August 2015. It will provide a further deepwater quay and 9 acres of additional laydown.
