Established in 1948, Squibb Group are one of the largest demolition groups in the UK offering specialist demolition, asbestos removal and engineering services.

With extensive experience as Principle Contractor on small to multi million pound schemes, Squibb Group also offer specialist services such as Decommissioning, Decontamination, Land Remediation, Recycling, Temporary Works Design, Structural & Civil Engineering Consulting and CDM services.

This extensive range of services is provided to a number of key industry sectors including Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Pharmaceutical industries. Experience gained over several decades has enabled the Squibb Group to gain a thorough understanding of the constraints normally encountered when working in difficult environments and through the application of project implementation analysis, Squibb have been able to identify bespoke solutions to complex logistical challenges. Indeed the company was the first in the UK to use a tower crane for the dismantling of a 100 meter high catalytic cracker column.

Through a network of established business partners, Squibb Group are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to implement the full range of management and operational project services including planning and executing offshore asset recovery, nuclear decommissioning, training, specialist equipment purchase, supply and installation. Squibb Group has one of the largest privately owned demolition fleets in the country with over 175 specialist trained employees. It also utilises an in house Asbestos Division for the execution of asbestos removal, which is fully compliant with regulation HSG267 and complimented by a current 3 year asbestos licence, waste carriers licence and waste transfer station licence. Squibb Group also offers the services of its own in-house civil and structural engineering consultancy for all temporary design work.
