Doubling oil, gas and energy supply chain exports is a regional and national economic priority and a key goal within the UK industry’s Vision 2035 strategy.
Private sector led economic development body Opportunity North East (ONE) and Scottish Development International (SDI) have partnered to create a peer to peer knowledge exchange to support the internationalisation of North East based supply chain businesses to increase export activity from the region.
The exchange provides an environment for operators, tier one contractors, experienced and aspiring supply chain exporters to share opportunities, insights, experience and ideas to help grow the value and volume of the Scottish supply chain’s international activity.
The aim is to establish an efficient and effective peer to peer network in the region, which meets regularly and explores a series of market or sector opportunities. Business discussions focus on practical exporting and internationalisation issues, to enable companies to learn from their peers and access market insights and intelligence.
The focus for this exchange is exporting opportunities in Australia and we will be hearing from a range of speakers including:
Murray Bainbridge, SDI
Will Rowley, DNS
Peter Black, EnergySys
Ray Loh, ICNWA
Noel Cowley, ZynQ360
The session will include presentations followed by Q&A.
